Information on the relaxation of COVID-19 measures put in place by the Greek Government

Social distancing rules of 1.5m are in place for all indoor and outdoor public spaces. Masks are mandatory when travelling by plane, bus, train, tram, ferry or taxi and when in shops, malls, medical centres, and some restaurants/cafes and tourist sites.

New health and hygiene protocols have been announced for air, road, train and sea travel.  A pre-boarding health declaration questionnaire is mandatory to travel by ferry.  Before boarding passengers will need to complete this questionnaire for internal travel in Greece or this questionnaire for travel to Italy. The questionnaires will be also available at Greek ports.

The Greek authorities have issued a leaflet available in Greek and in English for important tips for protection from the spread of COVID-19.
