INTERNATIONAL DRIVING PERMITS
An International Driver's Permit is not a licence - you must also have a current Australian licence.
Australian tourists and residents may drive in Greece for an unlimited period as long as they are in possession of a valid Australian driving licence and a valid International Driving Permit issued by the State/Territory in which the driving licence was issued. Both Australia and Greece are party to the United Nations Convention on Road Traffic 1949.
To renew your International Driving Permit (IDP), please contact the relevant IDP authority in your state or territory.
